Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine:

Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in 1959 and is also known as Shanxi College. Shanxi TCM University is one of the oldest medical colleges in China and one of the top 20 medical universities in China.

Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was opened for enrolment in 2001. Since 2002, this university has been open to international students. Through extensive research and innovation in the field of medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, it has become an important research Centre in Shanxi Province.

Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine:

Hunan TCM University is a public university founded in 1960. The University of TCM is located in Changsha, Hunan Province, China.

The university is the result of the Hunan College of Chinese Medicine, founded in 1934, and the Hunan TCM Vocational School, founded in 1953. From 1960 until a few years after 2000, it was known as Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The current Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was officially established and recognized by the Ministry of Education in 2006 through the merger of the TCM College with the former Hunan University of Science and Technology and the Hunan Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Research Centre).
